Here I am back again after 2 long trips :)
I would disagree about girls not want camping. Really, in my outpost girls
are even more active in RR than some boys. And OF COURSE they WANT go
camping. And they been to the long difficult hikes (like last year 9 days
hike). Moreover, they feel even better in the long hikes than boys. (Boy,
they sometimes eat more than us :-)). They do rockclimbing... They want it
and are doing it.
I think the matter is just of personality. Some boys like camping. Some boys
don't like camping and love football. Some girls like camping. Some girls
are not. And you are blessed guys, that you have Missionettes. But not every
girl will want to go to the Missionettes. There's no such ministry to serve
ALL. Some girls like camping. And right now they are mot in Missionettes,
not in Rangers... not anywhere. And to me it is only question "Do we want to
reach'em?"
I hope I did not offend anybody. And I respect JB's tremendous work. But
there should be a reason, why he's done it only for boys. And it might not
be "because girls don't want camping".
Sorry, it's just my point of view, and I feel it strongly. So I wanted to
share it with you guys.
