Went to the RR site and went through the whole shebang.
Well.
At the risk of being labeled a heretic by some <g> I'm excited.
And you know why?
Because I sat here with my GMA son Adam and "pushing for GMA" son Nathan an
all I heard was "that's really cooolll" and "oooooo, like that." and "Man,
Dad!............check out those vests!! All right!!"
"Look at those medals, with the Gold on top! Coolness!"
>From Adam, " I like the ministry opportunities at the Explorer level, wish
I'd had that."
This belongs to the boys, not me. I'm just a steward.
It doesn't say no camping. It says other things IN ADDITION TO camping.
Guys, I got boys here in my outpost who just aren't into camping. Period.
But they flocked to the slot car racing day we had and they loved the trip
to Nauticus where they got to see an IMAX movie about sharks.
If this new program has ways to get these boys excited about Rangers and
meeting plans to take some of the load off of Commanders so they can have
time for ministry, BRING IT ON!!
