Thank the lord there was Royal Rangers Growing up in the same place as Duane. I did
not know what a Axe was and Flashlight where for power outages.
I am so happy that Royal Rangers was there to take me camping so that Jesus could come
into my life.
Rangers without camping to me is nothing more than a Sunday School Program.
With Rangers I learn that being a man was something more than just making babies.
I learned that a man nevers stands as tall untill he stoops down to help a boy. That
is so true. My first years in the Navy helped me to get ready for father hood. I was
single and the boys in my outpost where my sons. The boys like myself that really
grew up without fathers. Some of the boys it was nothing more than Dad was out to
sea and I was there to talk to and do things with. I am so happy that I had that time.
I looked forward to the day when I had my own. I can not forsee Rangers without
Camping. We have been taught from the beginnind that this is a Camping Ministry. The
next time you go to a Ranger camp or a Pow Wow look at all the boys giving there life
to Jesus, Being Called into the Ministry (i.e. Commander, Pastor, or Missionary), or
the best of all Slained in the Spirit. And Rangers without camping does not have any
vaildity

But isn't camping an adventure especially for those who live in urban areas?
