Hi Darrell,

Thanks for the Scout perspective. Now, how are these Urban Troops
funded. By the church sponsering them, the United Way???

The problem I have seen is a lack of money to properly run the Camping
portion of the Urban Rangers. Some of these churches barely keep there
doors open, let alone fund an additional minsitry.

I can hear your wheels spinning <vbg>. You're thinking fund raising,
fund raising, fund raising. And, you are right. If the church is behind
the local Ranger program they will help to raise the funds.
Unfortunately, I do not believe this to be the case, the local church
behind the ministry 100%. It is sad :-( What a wonderful ministry we
have here.
