OK, now I'm going to show my ignorance.

My background is in a small conservative Lutheran denomination. 250 members
is a BIG church. Yet most of these churches can offer inexpensive or free
Christian schooling. How do they do it? They have a vision, and they work
together among the congregations to accomplish what one can't do alone.

How come we don't see very many outposts run cooperatively by a group of
churches? If we got past the one church, one outpost, mentality, wouldn't
that mean more opportunity for everyone? I realize that is where the
sectional comes in, but if the outpost is having trouble supporting itself,
it probably won't charter.

If the new program is going to result in a bunch of new outposts with no
camping experience, it would seem that cooperation would be the way to show
them how important camping can be to the RR ministry.

just my 2 cents
