Bonnie, your answer was beautiful. If he had been in my husband's class he
would have had speech classes. Frapper will NOT let someone do without. He
would have gently and lovingly and prayerfully gotten him mainstreamed into
regular class. For years, young adults have come back to him and shown them
their babies, or awards or college diplomas. They all say the same thing, "I
remembered you said I COULD do it, and I DID!" And that's not counting the
ones who haven't thought to do it. I am very proud of his work, can you
tell? ha ha I've been in his classes and seen him face down huge older boys
who were armed, and I've seen him on his knees before children everyone gave
up on and get them to focus on him with soft words and beautiful smile. I'm
so sorry there are those who have suffered. It is mainly the fault of the
school district you are in, but then those like my husband should not be
lumped in with those who don't care. Thank you so much for writing, your
brothers are very blessed to have a sister who loves them the way you do.
Keep it up! Janet
