No. All music was God's at one time. Many consider Ezekial chapter 28
a literal description of Satan, and believe that he was once the praise and
worship leader in heaven. Everything he does is a corruption of what God
created him to do. I do not believe that any "Style" of music is wrong,
since God created it, and satan now tries to use it against His creation.
I used to do hard drugs(hallucinogenics, acid, ecxtasy, cocaine, etc.) and
listen to alot of pretty bad music. Some of the worst I ever listened to was
Pink Floyd. This stuff was demonic. I was a teenager running from God and
open to pretty much anything supernatural. There were a lot of negative
repercussions.
For Christmas this year, I received a few praise and worship tapes that
Rick Joyner and Don Potter worked on. This is some serious stuff! Spiritual
warfare music. But you know what? The style of this music is the closest I
have ever heard to Pink Floyd. At first I was a little concerned. I had to
pray about it. The answer from God?
What Pink Floyd was doing for satan, these guys are doing for God.
If anyone out there doesn't believe in spiritual warfare music then read II
Chr. 20.
What matters is who the music is consecrated to, not what style, because
God made it all!
