anyone can put God in a box and say he always does it this way. I too
along with Paul of the New Testement have seen people getting caught up
in a frenzy that was questionable to him and I.
To make my point brother. The Father, Son and the Holy Spirit can have
free reign in my life and use me in any manor they see fit. I trust God
because he knows the first to the last. To agree with your point. I do
agree with you. God doesn't make everyone one of us fantastic Preachers
neither does he make everyone of us fantastic toungue talkers. Not to
take away from this gift as when I speak in the Holy Ghost I know he
knows my heart no matter how elegant or loud even silent he knows what my
spirit is conveying to him. In some instances that is the only language
I can pray in when I am totaly not understanding how to pray about
something.
I have heard God's voice only 2 times that I can remember both times were
during critical times in my life. Yet he spoke to me. The words were.
"Trust me, just trust me" another time was "Do the first things" both
have significant meaning to me. Especially today because today is my
wife and mine second time around the ole marriage vow aniversary. The
first time we where married for 6 years this time now for 9 with a total
of 15 years today. God is good and I love the Holy Ghost. He, Jesus and
the Father can act any way they see fit as I know they only give good
gifts to this son.
Please brother don't get hung up on what others are have or don't have.
God works differently in all of our lives. That is what makes him
personal and the best for each of us. What you and I might think is
normal or abnormal may very well be what another needs.
When I got saved at the Ozark AOG in Ozark, MO about 11 years ago. God
changed my life at that altar. He or one or more of his representatives
was at that altar and when I finally broke and dropped my pride and
invited him in as the Lord of my life I got my fingers kissed by a
invisible being of some sort. All I can say is I heard, felt and
experienced the love that a parent has for their child but a 1000 times
more.
I could go on but I have rambled long enough. Trust God for what he has
for you. Your shoe may not fit the person next to you.
