I don't believe so. I'm more inclined to think that the relationship
has more to do with exposure to worldly knowledge, values and cynicism.
There lots of folks out there with plenty of exposure to the above and
not much affluence...

participation in a ministry such as Royal Rangers?
Again, I don't believe so. A call to ministry is a call to ministry,
regardless of social standing or affluence. There are a lot of guys
who opt out, but I think many would drop out regardless. I have to agree
to some extent that some people feel that 'working in the trenches' is
somehow beneath them. But if you created a 'golf ministry', there would
be a lot of volunteers...
Further- In our current AG fellowship, has a traditional
understanding or support of Royal Rangers become eroded
by affluence?
Not where I've been. But then I haven't spent a lot of time in affluent
churches. I know there are a few affluent AG churches out there, but not
many...
