Is this kind of like the seed thrown in amongst the weeds?
The most mature, loving, fruitful Christians that I know still speak in
tongues a lot (as well as praying with their understanding, reading and
meditating on the Bible, and moving in other ways as the Holy Spirit guides
them).

I'm not going to touch this one, even with a 3-meter pole!
A better question might be: "How do we stir up more understanding and
support of Royal Rangers?" That is a more constructive question. The first
step to the answer is in prayer.
