Sister Liane,   The khaki uniform is a part of the Ranger program. You may find them at your local Wal-Mart under the Dickies work wear brand. The patches will have to come from GPH or your District commander (if he sells stuff like this). Cost is usually $16.00 to $18.00 for a shirt and the same for the pants. GPH only takes several days to process the order. Yes it is an expense. What is your outpost doing for uniforms for the boys?   The reason the LTC staff would like you in uniform is so you will get used to wearing it and thusly wear it at your Ranger meetings. The boys receive a double meaning when we tell them to be in uniform but do not wear it ourselves.   What else in the letter you received seemed harsh to you?
