Hello again,
Thank to all of you who replied my post. I mentioned on my previous message
that I had given presentations about the RR ministry in front of the
congregation with little or no result. I'd like to give more details about
these previous presentations thus helping you refine your advice:
1) I have already shown the New Promo DVD from the Nat. Office. (Last Summer)
2) I have used a Power Point presentation along with my speeches.
3) I have worn my RR uniform for all presentations
People at church have already a good idea of what Rangers is about because:
4) We have held our 3* Councils of Achievement during a Sunday morning
service
*We're a relatively new Outpost -less than a year
5) I have served along with some of my boys as ushers for some of the Sunday
morning services.
6) Every time we win any awards/toffees as an outpost we announce it during
the service
7) I have posted fliers about Rangers on the Church's bulletin board.
8) I have made slide shows with the pictures of Ranger events we participate
in as an outpost.
9) I have approached specific individuals at church and almost
cornered/drafted them for Rangers
Etc, etc, etc.
I would also like to reiterate my invitation to all Senior Commanders to
answer my second question -which I won't post here for personal reasons...Just
ask me what the question is when you're anwering the question about publicity.
