Hi all,

Please let me know if this is inappropriate to post to this list.

I have maven working and have packaged the most recent source into binary
distributions. I've not successfully gotten it working with mysql as
opposed to H2, but I think I can get that working. I'm completely lost
though in integrating our Active Directory authentication with Rave.

I can set up an eLance.com project to pay someone to help us get Rave
setup in our environment correctly. I've got the start of a perl script
to configure the source and run maven and then another one to deploy the
binary distribution and update the appropriate configurations (change the
Tomcat ports, add the mysql library, etc).

Priority will go to core contributors to Rave for this contracting work if
you want it (and as thanks for an awesome job of turning three or more
interesting gadget portals into one really nice gadget portal - we were in
the process of building yet another gadget portal which we stopped
immediately when we saw the ApacheCon presentation and Youtube video
demonstrating Rave 0.5 :)

We have a pretty standard Active Directory setup and mysql setup on a
fairly standard Redhat Linux server (with a few other Tomcat servers on
it). We would like to be able to use Active Directory authentication and
Rave local authentication if the user isn't found in AD if that is
possible.

We have to use eLance.com for managing payment (so you would need an
eLance account which is easy to get) and can either make it an hourly or
project-based contract. We will set up a Webex session to host access to
our server for any direct configuration setup and testing.

Once we have settled the details, we would need your eLance.com account
login name to post the job directly to you rather than bidding it out.

Thanks,

William
