I can't think of any suggestions you haven't already tried, but I can tell you 
that the current version of Razor *does* work with Perl 5.6.  I've got two 
servers still running with Perl 5.6, and the Razor/SpamAssassin combination 
works on both of them.

So in theory, it shouldn't be necessary to upgrade Perl.

Actually, at least one person has reported having to reinstall Net::DNS:

That issue, however, sounds like a SpamAssassin problem rather than a Razor 
problem.

As for the "Can't locate object..." error, that does sound like a problem with 
Razor.  Have you already run razor-admin --discover?
