Correction: Yes and no. At least in my win 8 here, if you pin an exe from windows explorer to your taskbar , and then you right-click on it, there are no Properties for you to change. Not like if you pin a shortcut to the taskbar. That's why I can't pin an exe.

We have a desktop shortcut that points to the RBase 9.5 exe which is running from the server. We cannot drag it to the taskbar. As soon as it gets in there, we get the "no" symbol. Taskbar is not locked. We can move other desktop icons down there. Their IT guy says you cannot move shortcuts that point to programs running on the server. Is that true?
