I have an image I want to display as a background wallpaper in a form The JPG image I have is 1600x1059 and 558 KB but the system allows me to select only BMP images. I have converted the JPG image to BMP using several programs including Photoshop Elements and Irfan and the smallest I can get is 4.5 GB image which is 9-10 times larger and naturally makes the form open slow.
