Thank you Doug, I have lots of graphic packages I can use to convert and I can reduce the resolution and make it smaller. Facebook makes the files small by reducing the resolution but I prefer to keep the high resolution. In any case using a picture variable in the background instead of wallpaper allowed me to use the JPG file and my for is now almost 10 times smaller.
