Dear Karen

Although not a very experienced programmer, I personally use RBWin 6.5++ to
print on a variety of muti-part dot matrix papers with Windows fonts.

With windows, for most dot matrix printer drivers there is a "custom" option
under properties:paper where you can define specific paper length and wide.

Although the current version of R:Base does not include an option in
PRNSETUP for such non standard paper sizes (Please correct me if I'm wrong),
I simply create a copy of the printer driver with the custom page size set
as default, then by only using PRNSETUP 'printer name' the default custom
paper size is used.

Whether correct or not, I even use this method to print on labels
(Especially when multiple copies are required).

Hope this is of help

It's a simple app, but they have 4 reports that
are printed on various sizes of multi-part dot
matrix forms, one of which is a tiny index-card
sized form. I remember several years ago totally
giving up on printing odd-size DM forms from
Windows; luckily that client had the money to
go to laser forms and their forms were all regular
size anyway.

So I'm just looking for assurance that (in 6.5++)
that I will be able to print to the dot matrix
on these funky-sized multipart forms.

God bless!

Karen
