Oma: I totally agree. All you usually have to do is tell them that they'll never have to struggle with forms going off the tracks and getting jammed in the dot matrix, and that's all the selling you need to do. The problem with this client is that they have a high quotient of 'set in their ways'. And some of their forms are tiny, like the size of index cards, so I don't know how that would translate to a laser size form. Either alot of wasted space on the right, or they would have to print like labels but there's quite a bit of variable information on each form.
Another hurdle that I run across when trying to convince a client to switch to laser forms is -- they like the colors! It's easy to say "the customer gets the white copy, the yellow goes to accounting, the pink gets filed right away." That seems easier than saying "look at the top for the word 'accounting' or 'file' " Karen >They've saved a lot of money on forms cost! They were happy after they adjusted to the change!
