I don't think so Mike, I think rather it is possibly a tiny little bug that we can't catch, either in my code (most likely) or ... It happens about once a week, on either machine that runs that application. It is any one of the buttons that gets greyed out. I have tried many times to replicate it, but no luck yet. I am sure if I am ever able to reproduce it regularly, It will be fixed immediately. But till then it isn't that big of a nuisance.

Dear Dan,
Sounds like you are having the same experience that I am having. What
have you tried? Is a greyed out button possibly an undocumented feature
that is
Being activated inadvertently?

Mike

Razzak, This does not seem to be the case. This has been discussed and reported before, not only by myself but others on the list. I am running a single table dispatching form that is open all day that calls up various eeps/forms etc but they all return to that same form. Occasionally one of the buttons (there are 15 buttons, and 120 clickable

variable fields) will grey out and is no longer clickable. The button
that
greys out could be any of the 15. None of the buttons has to do with
other
tables. This is sporatic, and cannot be duplicated, yet happens at
least
once a week to my assistant and I. It has happend in as many versions
as I
can remember.
The only way to get the button to work is to close and reopen the
form. Wish I could be more help in replicating it on a consistant
basis,
if I could I would send it in.
