Hi,

I would be interested in seeing the court documents. Would you mind sending
me a scanned copy. I'm interested if that case might apply to my contracts
I might have in Michigan. If so, then I simply will not do work for
companies there unless the pay up front.

I doubt that I would loose because the contracts, that the client signs
when not paying advance, includes provisions that assign their license to
me as the lien holder of their debt and this would permit me repossess my
property unless payments are kept current.

In summary, my lawyer told me that he based this provision was based on
credit laws that permit a lien holder to repossess the item held in lien
for failure to pay. Ever hear of anyone having an automobile repossessed
without their immediate consent. The loose the use of their lien held
transportation.
