Thank you Karen.

I understand that default is "OFF" and I see no program setting that "ON".
Let me try a few things before I cry for "Zip Nothinng.exe".
Thanks again.

Aiko: Another thing you MUST make sure of, is that
you have SET WHILEOPT OFF in your startup file. With
WHILEOPT set ON, that's the quickest way to fill up
available memory. Causes bombing out of programs at
random places when the memory's full.

I'm not sure if this works in the Windows environment,
but at a client with 6.5 DOS, everytime they return to
the main menu it runs a command:
      DISCONNECT
      ZIP NOTHING.EXE

I can't remember what nothing.exe is (created by
another programmer in 1992), but it serves to flush
out memory. I could send you the .exe if you're
  interested.

    Dear all,

Lately my clients are having problem of running out of memory while they
are
going in an d out of the programs , forms , and reports.

Is there any thing I could do to manage their usage of memory, i. e.
clearing out unused 'loaded memory' ?
If any particular practice you can recommend within v6.5, I would be
grateful and my clients would be happy campers.

    Thank you.
