I think the service pack 1 for Vista is supposed to come out 1st quarter of 2008. I am waiting until then... In my experience( I have two machines running Vista Business), Vista is slower than XP unless you get the most beefy hardware(fast hard drive, memory, video card, dual core processor) or you turn off the eye candy stuff(aero).
