Mike, My one bit of advice where laptops are concerned is go for the fastest hardware you can buy, because by year two or so it'll seem slow.
If you're seriously looking at dual-boot to Vista, make sure the experience index is 5 or better. Word around is that most laptops get in the twos and threes, and that can be pretty doggy. I'm running Vista on a Dell XPS desktop, not the fastest dual-core but dual-core, and 4 gigabytes (where the opsys can only see 3 since it is 32-bit not 64-bit) and the eye candy doesn't burden the system at all. -------------- Original message -------------- From: "MikeB" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > Now Dennis..
