I am going to get a new laptop and I am going to Dual Boot XP Pro with Vista Business.. XP Pro being the Default.

In my experience( I have two machines running Vista Business), Vista is slower than XP unless you get the most beefy hardware(fast hard drive, memory, video card, dual core processor) or you turn off the eye candy stuff(aero).
