RBENGINE76.CFG This has a date last modified of 5/31/08 Is the first a backup copy? I am not in either file at the present. Should I delete the oldest file? As I said before, this error has not come up before so I do not know what caused it. As you can see, I am not very savvy about this aspect of RBASE. That just means that you brought the file up in RB Editor; that's the backup copy. As long as it doesn't have the "real" name it isn't a problem. Karen Karen, I found two RBENGINE.CFG files. One has the ~ in front of the CFG. I assume I need to delete that CFG file. Correct? I have no idea how that got there in the first place. Jim
