Remote desktop only ends the session if you log off. If you simply disconnect, the session will stay active. With remote desktop to a workstation with a single connection license, the session will end if someone else tries to log on to a different account on the computer. Otherwise, it will stay active and you (or someone else) can connect and log back into the running session. -- Larry
