Yes, it was suggested that I try using short names for the columns; I haven't
done that yet but will report on it when I do. It would, unfortunately, be
necessary to create a view using the full names because the columns have to
mean something.
Just a thought if it's not already been offered:
does it help if you could create the table with short names (t_001 - t_800)
for the columns and use a single table view for the browser entry/edit?
