Just a note from the sidelines. The combo of .NET and SQL Server is a very tough platform to beat function wise. I have a lot of experience in many different large scale corporate business applications and platforms and it takes a level of knowledge and support far above R:BASE to implement a sophisticated .NET application. This of course translates into $$$ and what makes R:BASE so attractive beyond the competition.
Having said that, those who want the web based capability of .NET and who can effectively manage the projects will get a great application. I've said this before on the list, since I've never played around with the product I don't know for sure, but the combo of R:BASE C/S and the codecharge front-end should be able to match and maybe beat a .NET deployment function for function. (The open market for .NET widgets are sort of nice though) (Waiting patiently excited for R:BASE eXtreme to see how "eXtR:eme" it really is.)
