Yes, there are some very cool options available.

Now I'm trying to force the page footer to print at the bottom of the page.
I right click on the footer and click position and it only lets me change the 
height.

Dennis:

The Line object in the R:Base report writer is actually a rectangle in which 
only one of the sides (Top, Left, Bottom, or Right) is "drawn".

To choose the side that gets drawn, drop a line on your report, select it, and 
look in the upper left, on the tool bar (same location where you set the field 
and table for a data control).  There is a drop-down offering Left, Right, Top, 
or Bottom.

Also, experient with the ParentWidth setting -- very convenient.
