Larry, I tried that. It only works if the details fill the page. If they don't, the lines stop with the last detail. The last page of the report will have lines down only part of the page.

If you place your line(s) in there (not in the header and footer) and set them all to parent height, you'll get the effect that you want -- if if the intermediate bands change height as the result of a stretch operation during the report generation. -- Larry
