Larry, That stuff works great!
This is very much an anchoring of the line to the top and bottom of the parent section, wonderful when the contents of the section will dynamically change it's height. Unfortunately, I'm trying to have a line that anchors to the bottom of the page header and the top of the page footer, and stretches as I modify the report. I'm going to have to go with a fixed length line, which I will add after the entire report is designed so I don't have to fiddle with it more than once. Thanks, Dennis ________________________________ From: [email protected] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Lawrence Lustig Sent: Wednesday, October 08, 2008 10:40 AM To: RBASE-L Mailing List Subject: [RBASE-L] - Re: vertical lines on reports << Is there a way to anchor a line to parts of the report so it adjusts dynamically? Place a line in each section between the header and footer, set each to Parent Height, then use the alignment tool to align them all exactly. Viola. Also, Stretch With Parent is useful in cases in which you want the component to strecth but not be the same height as the parent band. -- Larry
