Hi,

Are there tech specs available of the server where the R:BASE server solution
is working ?

Is there any way to get the client as download for testing here from the
Netherlands ?

Best regards, Marco

  Dan,

I can do it from home, now, and the speed is great. If a traditional, non-C/S
version of the same application and database was on my local server here, it
wouldn't be any faster. (And here, I don't have to share one wireless access
point with 80 other R:BASE developers, either!)

Hi Bill, did you notice how the speed was of the client running across the
internet at the conference??

Boy, if that works good then I would be able to do everything in R:base
instead of web apps!!

    Marco,

At the developers' conference, Razzak gave the Authorized Developers a
Client/Server application called the RDCC Client, and demonstrated it right
there, with developers able to log in to the R:BASE Database back in
Murrysville, and add bug reports, feature requests, see lists of the status of
all their past reports and requests.

It was definitely not running on an Intranet.

      Hi,

I think R:BASE Client/Server is not allowed on Internet ! But only
Intranet. So option 3 is not valid. Maybe the R:BASE people can confirm this.
