I am using xp. I know that when I use remote desktop to access a machine,
the behavior varies depending on what I have hooked up to which machine. ie
single monitor to double or double to double. I know in remote desktop
there is a setting to allow it to span monitors at the client end. Not sure
in Citrix.

Subject: [RBASE-L] - Re: More questions about dual monitors

We think that an operating system might be a big difference. The
consultant on this project claims that when he goes in with citrix on a
windows 7 everything works okay, but the client says the pause/dialog boxes
split the screens for him. We're waiting to hear from him what operating
system he has (obviously it's the same or older). Or perhaps there's an OS
setting to govern how 2 monitors work? I don't know ...

Part of this is the way windows works also, its not just Rbase. I have
dual montors and when I use other programs the same thing happens. I just
downloaded a data file from a web site, the site was on the #2 screen but
the dialogs pop up on the center of the main screen, no matter where the
parent window was. Maybe someone with a better system level knowledge will
know if there is a way to change that, or is it just the windows default
that causes them to move.
