In addition, knowing the fact that R:BASE 7.6 is the currently available
version of R:BASE for DOS, why would someone recommend the 6.5 (LEGACY -
Non-Supported) version of R:BASE?

On the top of that, who will provide the software license(s) for R:BASE 6.5
for DOS? Definitely not R:BASE Technologies, Inc., or its partners.

What if the end-user makes a phone call directly to R:BASE Technologies and
finds out that R:BASE 7.6 is the currently available version of R:BASE for
DOS? In that case, RBTI will refer the end-user to one of the members of
R:BASE Consulting Group (with vested interest in R:BASE) to handle such
situation.
These members are available to help from Boston to Bangladesh!

Having said that, it is a very easy and smooth conversion from R:BASE 4.5
for DOS to R:BASE 7.6 (or 9.0) for DOS.

If you really want to see how easy the conversion is, make sure to attend
the special session on Upgrading to 9.0 at the 2010 Annual R:BASE Conference
(October 9 - 10, 2010).

Very Best R:egards,

Razzak.
