Oh for heavens sake, you'll never believe what the problem ended up being at the client when I went there today.... They were originally on 7.1 and upgraded to 7.6 years ago. On this new person's computer the guy set up the icon to run the app and put in the original 7.1 exe location rather than the 7.6! (We still have the old 7.1 on there even though it's not used). So there was a compatibility issue with new code/forms.... Yeesh... Karen I hate to harp again about AV programs, but Vipre just would not work on my workstation. Had to keep it shut down when running RBase. It would take seconds to load a form that would be instantaneous on any other box and any lookup activity within a form was at a snails pace. I finally put MS Security Essentials on just this box and no more problems. FWIW, this one box is the only one that was affected in this manner.
