I really like 64bit Win-7. With 8gigs of ram I comfortably run XP-Pro in a VMware VM for those instances where I need a 32 bit OS. It's been about a year and I've not had anything lock up. If something didn't work it either crashed (but didn't take Win-7 with it) or didn't perform (below).
In the end, however, I discovered code-locking RBW 6.5+ required an XP box. Same for compiling VB (if I remember correctly, but could have had other causes).
