Thanks you everyone for the info on Power Builder.
This company came to my office to see if they could
help my computer needs. They have 15 employees, some
are programmers (PB, VB and C++), some do networks,
some do tech support, sales ...
They seem to target small offices that need computer
help but can't afford a full time network staff...
The info they gave me said they sold and supported
MediSoft. Which is a program for doctors offices.
Well, I have several users that have switched from
MediSoft to my app in RBW. They feel my program is
much better, easier to use and more stable.
So, I called them to see if they would be interested
in selling my app and providing tech support for my
users. Of course, they will need to learn some RB and
I hope they will switch.
I think they do some custom programming in PB but I am
not sure at this point.
I hope when they see what I have been able to do in
RBW they will be impressed considering my lack of
programming skills. Over ten years ago I tried to
write my program in Fox Pro, well I couldn't even get
a menu to work. Then a friend showed me RBase and I
have been using it to run my office since 1990.
