Dennis,
  I agree with you 100% on VB and RBase both.  RBase is certainly catching
up rapidly and its' bang for the buck is Superlative (or is that Glorious?
No it's Cosmic! No, Amazing! Wait. Supercalifragilistic.  Uh, Glorious?).
  VB is an object oriented language, even though it lacks True inheritance
(that hasn't bothered me in the least) and the minor changes in Version 7
that will break code I have already written doesn't bother me either.  I
will write new apps in Version 7 and maintain others in Version 6.  No big
deal, just as we have always kept a few versions of RBase on our machines to
maintain its' different versions.
