It is true that the ease of use, and large install base of VB has created a
large number of what I call "learn vb in 21 days" programmers. During the
years of the "dot com" thing, companys hired without regard to credentials.
This diluted the talent pool, and drove demand up because companys had to
hire 5 people to do the work of 1 real programmer.

Because we have VB, we lack quality developers....probably not what you were
trying to say. Using positives instead of negatives can be more easily
interpreted.
