In older versions of RBase I maintained different forms for adding
new data vs. editing what existed. Now I do everything with an edit
form... no menu, no run time tool bar. New records are created with
inserts.

Lately I've been using forms with variables that mimic the actual
columns and drive everything with eeps (updates/inserts) and
choose statements. It's more work, but makes for a very smooth
interface.

The thing that's missing is an elegant way, while editing, to add
new records to the second table of a two table form where the
second table is within a region. And have the new row and the
cursor visible, with the cursor either on the new row or left where it
was.
