to Bill for helping get this message out -- at last, maybe.

Hi All -

I have a client running RBWin 6.5++ under Win 95 and Novell 4.11.
One of the users has the problem that when he enters data in a form
presented with EDIT USING, the form menu exit menu (Save - Discard - Cxxcel)
dialogue box pops up when the first key is pressed, regardless of what key
was actually pressed. All keys are responded to as if they were [Esc].
This occurs on the only the first keypress after the forms are presented.
All forms are legacy forms which have been upgraded. All of these forms
have been modified under 6.5, 6.5+, or 6.5++ so they have been rewritten by
the current forms designer.

This problem follows him to other workstations when he logs in as
himself. If he logs in as someone else on his personal workstation the
problem disappears. One other user has this problem once in a while. All
other users do not have the problem. All Novell log in scripts are
identical. All users use the same rbase.cfg and rbase.ini files.

The system has been combed for extra rbase.cfg and rbase.ini files
as per suggestion from RBTI tech support (who have been very helpful but
like myself don't have a clue). Removal of those files had no effect.

Any thoughts, suggestions, etc. about fixing this would be
appreciated. Also if you have experienced this problem and not solved it I
would like to know. This problem first appeared under 6.5+ and it affected
nearly everyone at the location so I took them back to 6.5 and the problem
went away. Now with the 6.5++ upgrade installed the problem has returned
but is affecting only two workstations instead of everyone at the location.
