I wish it were that simple. That was the first thing I looked at
since it was a legacy system. This problem was reported to RBTI in early
April as a bug in RBW 6.5++ beta 4 and was verified. I hadn't been able to
reproduce it with the release version of 6.5++ on my machines and hoped it
had been fixed. Unfortunately that wasn't the case when I installed 6.5++
at the client site. The bug resurfaced.
Yesterday afternoon I installed the fix along the lines that J.M
Gratias had suggested in two routines by installing a call to my good old
"clean out the type ahead buffer" subroutine just before every user keyboard
use point. Today the form exit menus are not popping up when forms
presented by those programs receive their first keystroke.
