I've had similar problems. I couldn't figure out what was triggering it.
It seems to happen randomly whenever I make some small change to a report.
I've had to copy a report from a backup and reload it to fix the problem in
some cases. I'd love to hear an explanation or remedy for it.

I'm using the latest windows version of R:BASE.

Subject: Problem encountered with Report Designer

i dont know if any one has come accross this before but i seem to be
encountering problems with the report designer , ive changed settings on
page so that the page is A4 size (im based in UK) . Created a letter
template on the report designer which is a staright forward letter. The
actual body txt of the letter is taken from a table (using variables) which
stores all the selectable types of letter. The problem occurs when i move an

object on the report (it doesnt matter whether it is a txt or variable) to a

different part of the report

eg i moved the date to the middle of the page rather than the right side

once i go out of the report and save my changes , ill run off a test print
out , upon doing this ive noticed that my font size has increased (on all
fonts in the letter) , my page break has gone from A4 to 9 inches so
anything that was slightly before the a4 cut off line is moved right accross

to the 9" mark.

So anytime i move anything on one of my reports , i also have to go back in
and change all font sizes and page sizes back to what they were. Has any one

come accross this b4??

Cheers
