The odbc for foxpro is no longer supported, it said. so I tried visual foxpro, it created the odbc but it didn't work on this version of foxpro (2.6 (X)) >> Bernie, If they are a DBase IV format, with a DBF extension, just attach them instead of SAttach. The attach lets you populate, copy, and all of that, as if they were RBase tables. Another little trick is if you have a copy of Corel Suite 2000, it has Paradox as part of the package, and it will read a number of the tables, and you can manipulate the data into a dbase format as well. That's what I used to create DBase IV files for a label program, attached it to my RBase data base, populated it, then detached to print in the Label Program. I found the link to Corel by accident, but it saved me a number of hours. Everytime I need to work on one of those DBase IV files in Paradox, it reminds me why I use RBase ALL the time <g> Damon Damon D.
