Bernie,

Never test for NULL with an equal sign operator. Test for NULL with "IS
NULL" or "IS NOT NULL."

IF mfr IS NOT NULL THEN
  PRINT areport
ENDIF

To be doubly sure, in case mfr might have had a single space put in it,
or might truly be null, test this way:

IF mfr IS NOT NULL AND mfr <> " " THEN
  PRINT areport
ENDIF

It's time to start converting to the SQL standard of single quotes,
Bernie. R:Base 7.0 will make it worth the time you spend!
