After the update, I am able to change the user and see all my tables but
the Rmerge Template screen is still blank after I enter a template name,
pick a table and enter comments. When I log in to Rbase, I see no
sys_merge table... ~Claudine :)

OK, but I'm the only user on my PC and there is no sys_merge table!
However, I always log in with multi set to ON. Would that make a
difference? ~Claudine :)

If anyone else is in the database, it wont create the Sys_merge table.
At least that's what I experienced.

Subject: R:Merge

Hi all...

Just purchased and am trying to set up R:Merge. We put the software on a
workstation, and store our data in a mapped drive on the server. I am
having a strange interaction between the two.

I can connect to the database with no problem, but am unable to create a
template. I go through the motions and after clicking ok I am returned
to a blank white template manager.

When trying the same procedure from a back up copy stored on my PC... I
am able to connect and create no problem. AND most curious to me is
that if I transfer the sample datafile to the same location on the
server, that datafile allows me to create and use templates....

Have tried to:
start in the data file on the server;
reinstall;
install in the data file on the server; and,
navigating to the data;

with no success... is there anyone out there that has had similar
experience? or know what it might be that is mismatched? I checked using
R:> show any differences in the two databases and have still no answer.

any information or answers would be appreciated

Tom
