A very belated, but very sincere, THANK YOU! to everyone who
replied to my earlier messages about where the RBASE.INI file
should be. Your comments and advice are appreciated!

I have put it back where it is supposed to be, and now everything
is working fine again.

I have no idea why or how it moved into each of the database
directories. All that I know is that this "phenomenon," along
with a few other weird things, have happened to my system since
I installed Windows 2000 Professional Service Pack 3. I have
had big-time headaches with W2K since then.

But I did want to let all who responded to my inquiry that I
got, and appreciate, your messages and advice. That's the beauty
of this list!
