The way it was explained to me is that I need to
hang up my stocking before Christmas. And if I am a good
boy, who knows what might happen.
I expect to become a tester for 7.0 in Kansas City
in January -- which is lucky for me. Apparently those who
have seen version 7 have lost their stockings... (and then I
wouldn't have anything to hang up.)
The other thing I was told is that Santa reads all
the letters forwarded to the North Pole. But you shouldn't
wait until too near Christmas to send your letter.
Otherwise the elves may not have time to wrap and deliver
what you have asked for. If not by Christmas, perhaps by
Passover.
