Buddy,
I've tried to find out how to do this, too, but to no
avail.
The best solution that I have come up with is to use my
v6.5++ reports by launching an instance of that version of R:Base and running
the reports from there. It's a damn sight quicker, as well.
Much the same as I have had to do for the last year, or
more, with RStyle - which in v6.5++ at least picks out some of my errors
whereas v7.x doesn't even manage that.
The help in v6.5++ is at accurate, too, and if that
doesn't help me I can refer back to the v5.5 manuals. I know that they're out of
date but I believe them and everything is in the same place rather than
scattered around various systems without any useful index.
Maybe it's time for RBTI to take a short break
from inventing new and undocumented ideas and actually get all the basics
to work properly first. Yes, of course, much does already work well and all the
new fangled bits and bobs are nice and there's obviously lots of good stuff to
come but unless the foundation is firm the building will eventually
collapse.
Regards,
Alastair.
